Niterói, Rio de Janeiro proved to be quite the creative epicenter for young Bel. Surrounded by the fine arts, she was raised listening to classical music, playing the piano, going to the opera and seeing ballet performances at the Municipal Theater in Rio. Being Influenced by the swirling wonder of music all around in her childhood followed her into adulthood, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and also studied film production. She then moved to Sao Paulo, where she stayed for nearly a decade working in content production for advertising. After working with brands such as Reebok, Dove, and Avon, she decided to take her affinity for visual and auditory creativity to Los Angeles in 2019 to focus her creative energy on community-oriented organizations. She founded Segunda Segunda, a monthly outdoor event that exposes local musicians and filmmakers to a wider audience. Her love and curiosity of the designs that make up our lives is coupled with her belief that only together can we find the solutions that lead to a better future.
